My website was created for my business without color. It has a white background, black and blue text. The problem is the logo I have is white so I guess that's why they kept the background white. It's looks really plain!
How can I add some color shading? I don't mind the background being white if I can add color in certain areas to bring it out. Or Would it be easier to get rid of the logo and type the in title so I can add background color?

You can add background colors to the elements using CSS. You
can also use a
graphics editor like Fireworks or Photoshop to add color to your graphics.
It's very hard to know what to suggest to what one cannot see. Is there a
link to your site?
