It is hard to select any file because the corresponding selection is further down. So clicking on the name opens a different file.
After entering FTP info that window cannot be closed, only way out is control alt delete to get out of Dreamweaver entirely. Going back nothing is saved (as expected) clicking on the + sign opens a small screen (where date has to populated) and although successful connection can be made with the server but it cannot be saved and cannot be closed either, so back to square one.
Anyone knows how to fix this nightmare?
DW is not yet Hi-DPI aware. Go into your system's display settings and drop text & UI scaling back to 100% (Recommended). Restart Windows. You should then have full view of all panels.

I found the fix. Although there are no save, cancel and help at the bottom, clicking enter on the key board works. Now the sites are connected. However, the arrow for uploading file is now gone. Site Get/Put works as dreamweaver declared files transfer completed. But on the actual website there is no reflection of it. Previously (before this update that I got last night that messed everything up) it would happen instantly. Also what is annoying is that each file name is selected further down. The spacing of the words and selection are of different heights so they do not correspond to each other. Before this update, none these problems were there. Adobe taking money every month but the service is not good. There call center is not open on the weekend either. I don't have time to talk to them on week days.

You still have not adjusted your system's display settings to 100% scale.
Until you do, you will continue to have problems in various panels.

You got it wrong. It is not about system display at all.
