Application settings & preferences not syncing

I'm trying to synchronize application settings, preferences, keyboard shortcuts etc. from previous Dreamweaver version 20.2 to the latest version 21.0. (on the same Mac). I have followed the user guide instructions regarding Sync Settings but I have had no success so far. Any help appreciated.

Hi,

Thanks for writing to us. Application settings and preferences should get migrated to the latest updated Dw version automatically. Can you please confirm if you had synced all the mentioned settings to cloud with Dw 20.2 before trying to download the settings in 21.0.

Also, since the issue is with sync settings on your machine, can you please let us know if you can join us for a remote connect session(details sent via email) to investigate and resolve the issue on your machine.

Thank you for your reply. I have managed to sync my settings now.

This is what worked for me.

1. Sync Settings on previous version of Dreamweaver and quit application
2. Install and launch the new version of Dreamweaver
3. Open Preferences > Sync Settings pane and check “Import Sync Settings”
4. Apply and Close preferences dialog
5. Then I was presented with the following Sync Settings dialog:

Clicking on “Upload sync settings” was the solution.
