Can only do Bold and Paste Special in in Code View

Question, I can Can only do Bold and Paste Special in in Code View.

No go in LIve or Split, is this normal, Bold wont Bold and paste special is greyed out. thanks.

Open an HTML file. 

Toggle between Live & Design view with Ctrl + Shift + F11.

Edit > Paste Special can be inserted into Code or Design view panels.

Nancy, thanks. Actually, to stick with Bolding. I just tested some sompler odler html files and bold works fine in live view.  But this page or file specifically,  (clone of homepage - to an faq page)  in live view wont bold, go figure, any ideas?

Without seeing the code:

Guess #1: Code validation errors.

Guess #2: Superceeding styles in the CSS are preventing display of Bold Text.

Guess #3: The text you're attempting to edit is not within an editable region.
