Can't Apply Styles

Moved to DW 2017 CC and it is a challenge.

Can't apply styles to my images.

I have the following link in every page:

<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" title="CSS" href="../styles/father.css" media="screen" />

When I attempt to use the menu to apply a style,  the drop box says I have two options:  Make a new style or Attach a style sheet?

I tried attaching but nothing happens???

I tried the PROPERTIES panel I I do not see the styles in the father.css style sheet...

VERY VERY frustrating as I use them all the time... Or did!

    Until there's some official word from Adobe on a bug, or someone provides more troubleshooting options, you could always drop back to an older version that worked correctly for you.

    As a paid subscriber, you have access to every CC version of the program. All 5 can be installed on the same machines at the same time through a single subscription, they just won't run at the same time. When installing newer versions, make sure to click the Advanced Options link in the installer dialogue so you can uncheck the Remove Older Versions option. That way you can test the "latest" without being left in the lurch if there's a major issue with it.

    Here's how you get older versions through the CC Desktop App...

    Hi Jon (and all other contributors),

    I request using these documents for installing previous versions because the blog posts usually don't get updated as frequently.

    Thanks,

    Have you defined your site correctly from with DW's Site > Manage Sites menu option?

    Many of DW's features won't work if the site is not, or improperly, defined.

    The same behaviors occurs on two machine and on 10 different sites which were CSS/HTML checked on-line.  Thanks for the idea!
