Can't eliminate space between td's

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. Using Dreamweaver CS5 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

I'm creating a table with CSS, and cannot seem to get rid of about 1

pixel around each td.

I've got border, padding and margin all set to 0px for both td's and

tr's and table itself.

I've got the background of each cell set to a light blue, and that's how

I can see that there's a white, approximately 1-pixel border around each

cell.

Any ideas how I can get rid of it?
