Cannot edit anything on live view

Hello everyone, I am a beginner on Dreamweaver, and I have purchased the Dreamweaver CC 2017 classroom in a book. I was making a practice website when all of a sudden my Dreamweaver crashed unexpectedly, when I reopened the program, I found that I could not edit my website anymore. Whenever I click on any element nothing happens, and the HUD's are all greyed out. Does anyone know what is going on and could possibly help? Thank you!

Can you switch to Design View and edit?
