Code Complete not working after Mac Sequioa update

After installing verion 21.5 on a new Mac running Sequoia, the Code Hints or code completion does not work even with manual control-spacebar.   I  have the box checked to "Enable code hints" in Settings>Code HInts, and also tried linting changes.

I read the brackets.json file needs a specific line of code  "codehint.Hints":{

"javascript":true

}.  which it does not have, but I cannot edit the file as it's read only.

Earlier I had a notification appear about extensions available to edit, but I didn't insall any and it says "(no extentions availble)"  so not sure if that's part of it.

Not sure what to do or how to recreate the brackets file.

Can you try updating to the latest version of Sequoia (15.6) and see if that helps? Otherwise, there have been oddities reported in the 21.5 release and the best option forward might be to go back to the 21.4 release until the next DW update.

Updating to Sequoia 15.6 did not help. I will try going back to 21.4 but I don't know where to find it on the desktop app.

Look under Older Versions, available to paid subscribers.

You can revert to version 21.4 from Creative Cloud Desktop App.
