Every time I paste in comments to a file in my local file directory. I get a pop-up box that says, "The file xxx.php has been modified. Do you want to save the file before putting?" I am not even saving. I just pasting in notes. What can I do to stop this? Screenshot 2020-12-18 085535.png

Ohhhhh I thought it was my site set up. Thank-you Jon. I will just take it out of Live View.

Hi Jon, The "Automatically upload files to the server on save" check box is not checked. The initial solution that you scratch out was the problem. Thank you so much for your help. I had it live view, when I put it back in design view it corrected the problem. Thank-you

I fixed it. My problem was my testing server folder and my local server folder were not the same.
