We have lots of banners that have tracking codes etc for advertising. These are written in AS2. Is it possible to convert them into HTML5 to and them work on iOS?

It's also worth noticing that if you need to convert flash app to html5 (which is rather big amount of work) you can contact development companies which offer such services.

Hi there, another service to convert Flash to HTML, supporting both AS2 and AS3 is http://pixelplant.com - take a look at some examples here http://pixelplant.com/gallery

Note, pixelplant.com doesn't use workarounds such as video but properly translates SWF files to JavaScript.

hey, lancomm

Here are two useful and efficient methods that will help you.

Method 1

You can download this Google Swiffy, only a extension with the function of Flash SWF files to HTML5 Conversion.

Swiffy currently supports a subset of SWF 8 and ActionScript 2.0.

Also if you want a powerful program to finish this work, SWF to HTML5 MOVIE MAKER may be a good choice. The next method will introduce one to you for converting swf files to html5.

Method 2

SWF to HTML5 Converter is equipped with powerful conversion features for flash users converting .swf animations to HTML5 videos. After uploading all the created HTML5 files to your website successfully, you can enjoy the HTML5 videos on laptop, desktop, or portable devices using popular browsers, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari, or Opera.

Try out FLABACO - www.Flash-Banner-Converter.com. It converts Flash to video. The converted video can then be embedded in websites using the HTML5 <video> tag.

FLABACO is a free, online converter.  To start a conversion, just submit the swf file to be converted. Flabaco handles AS2 / AS3 scripting. It does a good job in preserving quality, color and frame rates (fps).
