I have mostly work on .net so u might have idea what IDE i have used.
Recently i jumped to php and web designing.
I found an application called Notpad++, Awesome tool and i just loved to work with it. Only drawback is that i had to check the output of design of html part on browser, Which is not a big problem for me. But one day i though of working on Dreamweaver cs6, and it was quite good for div selections or syntext error highlight feature..
But then I again moved to Notpad++ and left cs6.
WHY?
I come to use frequently 2 feture of np++ which are not available in cs6, which i desperatly want them be in it.
1) Braces or tag mathing, when i click on a opening brace/tag, it heighlight the opening & ending brace/tag so i get to know where the block ends.
This facility is vailable but I have to selecet the (select parent tag, or something like that) to select the whole part. which is something similar to that but not completly.
2) colappsing the code block.
Simpl clicking in minus(-) sign on any braces wil collaps the complete body of that function. Which i did'nt seems to find in cs6, it is there but it dont work as npp or as i expected.
If anyone could make some extension for that, then i would be very thank full to them and also i will start using cs6 as my IDE, which will help me alot...
