CSS not loading in live view

New Here ,

I have a site that has been working fine both when uploaded to BC and in dreamweaver, but for some reason the live view in DW has stopped showing my CSS and I need to upload to the server every time I make changes to see if it works.

I have restarted the program, my computer and updated Dw but still no difference.  DW also complains about errors in the code, "Special characters must be escaped" but as far as I and my colleagues can see there is nothing wrong.

Is it any one who has run into this problem?

Don't know if this helps, but a number of users, and i myself, have noticed that even for pages not using server-side code a site definition must be made, and a testing server used in order for live view and browser preview to work correctly.

The site may, (and often does) display fine for a while, but once it starts to have problems that above is often the fix.

Okey, it seems odd to me. I do not use a testing server, and will not start.

Is this something Adobe is looking into or is ut "as is"?

It has been reported, but as yet there is no feedback from Adobe.

Run the validator at http://validator.w3.org/nu on your pages.

If that says there are errors in your code, there are errors in your code. Whether DW is choking on them is the question in that situation.

Any chance you could share a link to your work so we could see what's going on?

Well it doesn't have any errors after I copied and pasted everything in a new document. Haven't change a single line. But it seems to be working now
