Custom Snippets Not Appearing on Second Computer

Hi Guys,
I have created a lot of snippets in Dreamweaver CC, which I created in its own folder / category (ie. I did not place it in the 3.4.1 folder, or the 4.4.1, but in a new folder separate to those.. which works great on my PC - but on my laptop, the custom set of snippets do not appear at all.

So I compared the files on each computer, and noticed that in the Configuration / Snippets / PHP_Snippets folder on my PC has 3 more 'csn' files than my laptop does - and I wondered if this might be the issue... the files missing in that folder (on my laptop) are Media_Queries_for_standard_devices.csn,   Responsive_Images_using_picture_element.csn, and Retina_display_Media_Queries.csn    While I wasnt sure if this was the issue, regardless I tried to copy the missing csn files over, from my PC to the laptop - but it said I did not have admin permission to do this, and wouldnt allow it.   Again, I dont even know for sure if this is the fix, or not.

Other things I tried - moving my new snippets folder into the 4.4.1 folder on my PC, hoping that it might then update on my laptop - but no change unfortunately.   I also tried to follow someone's directions about refreshing the cache, but I wasnt able to follow the instructions correctly, or achieve any result.   NB. I also checked the Snippets / Responsive_Design_Snippets folder, but it has the same 3 identical files as my PC, so there is no discrepancy there.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Craig T

How did you move your snippets from one computer to the other one ?

Did you use the configuration's folder from Programs or from Users ?

Did you reboot DW after moving files ?

I you are not using sync or sync isn't working as expected copy the snippets folder. I personally make a backup of the snippets folder as a precaution. Windows path to snippets folder is something like this:  C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver\en_US\Configuration\Snippets

Did you copy your entire custom Snippets folder & drop it into the correct directory on your 2nd machine's hard drive?

Hi Nancy.  No, I just kind of expected that as DW is a cloud software, that it would copy my main version to the laptop - obviously not the correct thinking... but I have enabled syncing correctly now, and have managed to get the snippets to appear now.  Many thanks : )
