Deamweaver - Classroom in a book 2022 (Chapter 4)

Problem with writing the code in Chapter 4 of 'Dreamweaver - Classroom in a book 2022'.

I follow the instuctions explicitely in Chapter 4, but my computer throws a 'wobbley'. Has anybody else had the same problem. I think the software is amazing and has come on leaps and bounds since I last used it. It would be a shame too fall at this minor hurdle! Can anybody help? I've been working a Dell laptop PC.

We have no idea what's contained in Chapter 4 of the book you're reading.

My guess without seeing the code is that it contains errors that DW can't reconcile.  Possibly an unclosed <div> tag or stray semi-colon.

Validate code and fix reported errors.  Window > Results > Validation.  Click the triangle to check your document.

Hope that helps.  If not, post back with more details including the code you're working with.

Don't attach the .html files, that won't work.

Just copy/paste the code into a forum response.

Don't use email to reply though, the code won't come through.
