Dreamweaver 2017.1 just re-installed, code will not show up in code view, not even txt. files or complete web pages that had no errors. Only see blank page in code view

The page below is a full page of text but shows nothing when opening in Dreamweaver

Have you tried the latest version of Dreamweaver CC 2019?

Also try switching between views to see if that helps? For example go to full live view then switch to full code view.

Thanks for your reply, I have not tried the 2019 version, but I have tried switching between code.split/design views with & without live view but nothing helps. Also I have not changed any of the preferences, I have logged in as administrator and reset all preferences, still nothing...

I am using windows 10

I went to C:\Users\Greg\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2017\en_US\Configuration, this folder has no files but has a sub-folder "Cef/Local Storage"

I did not see "WinFileCache-********.dat" anywhere. I also searched my entire C drive for WinFileCach *.* & also winfile*.* but found nothing.

Please let me know if you have any further suggestions.

Close Dreamweaver, rename

C:\Users\Greg\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2017\en_US\Configuration

to

C:\Users\Greg\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver CC 2017\en_US\Configuration_backup

restart Dreamweaver.
