Dw no longer support the inclusion of phonegap, and older versions include the out-dated version.

The link i provided in your other post, will take you to the phonegap site where a number of alternative programs are listed in the 'getting started' section.

You may even wish to take a look at vs code which is free, and also supports the use of Cordova -

What sort of application are you wanting to create?

Please keep in mind that Dreamweaver is a glorified text editor that assists in creating web sites.

Wappler is the DMXzone-made Dreamweaver replacement and includes the best of their powerful extensions, as well as much more!

I'm not trying to disagree with you deliberately Preran, but I think we require more info from the OP.

If they wish to build device specific apps, with more features than jQuery mobile provides, then phonegap would be a better alternative to Dreamweaver.

It is now also possible to create applications that have all the functions, (except access to contacts) of a device specific app, that works within the browser and is accessed as a traditional web site.

It is also possible that the OP wishes to create a site similar to the one I work on, which is also traditionally called an application, because it contains all the functionality and features more often associated with a traditional installable program, (the Adobe programs for example).

The second and third options could be done in Dreamweaver, and I will not go into my usual 'what is missing' complaints, as I only know of one program that contains most, (not all) features required, and is very expensive for what it is.

(lets put it this way, if my employer did not pay for that program, i would not )
