Dreamweaver and TLS 1.2

Apparently Dreamweaver doesn't support TLS 1.2 a security protocol to which many host providers are switching. Can anyone confirm/deny this? The first I heard of it is through Aabaco (formerly Yahoo) small business solutions which hosts three of my business sites. This is not a Yahoo issue but rather a Dreamweaver issue because it is currently impossible to set up proper FTP access in Dreamweaver to be able to access a site that utilizes TLS 1.2.

If this is true, would love to know when Dreamweaver will catch up?

If it is not true, I'll go back to Aabaco to see what's up.

Thank you.

Am marking Nancy's answer as correct only because I don't have a better solution for you as yet.

Thank you. I sent the request. I really don't want Nancy's answer to be correct because I've used Dreamweaver for almost 20 years (since macromedia) and really don't want to stop now...

I don't have a perfect answer, but this is to let you know that the product team is still investigating the possible cause of this issue. We have brought it to their notice.

If I receive any updates from the team, I will share it with you here.

We have also heard about this issue on the Muse forum.

Thanks,

I have no problems connecting to my servers because I don't use Yahoo hosting.

But if I did, would get Filezilla.  It's a superior FTP client that supports TLS 1.2 and it's free.

Don't quote me officially on this please -

I have read a couple of discussions in this forum over the last few weeks, saying that Dw, even the latest version does not support TLS1.2, and that users are using filezilla for file transfer,
