Dreamweaver CS6 is almost unusable in Windows – nav items are TINY

New Here ,
May 30, 2023 May 30, 2023

DW: Version 12 Build 5808
Windows 11 Pro, Version 22H2, OS build 22621.1702
Running on Parallels Desktop on Mac OSX Ventura 13.3.1

Here is a screen shot.  Has anyone seen something like this before? It's almost unusable, making it very difficult to click on any menu item, etc.

You can see how the navigation size compares to icons on the desktop.

Not surprising given it's advanced age. High pixel-density & high-res displays didn't exist in 2012. As such, CS6 doesn't respect high-res unless you step down at the OS level.

I question anyone's judgement to use obsolete web authoring software. Far too much has changed in 10+ years.  The web as we knew it isn't the same. Neither are the browsers & mobile devices nor the coding technologies we use today.  Clinging to old software isn't worth the trouble.

Best advice, use a modern code editor or leave site development to experienced pros / online site builders.
