I need to re-install my old Dreamweaver CS6 into my Mac running Catalina but it tells me the app needs to be upgraded. Is there a workaround for this issue?

Thank you.

Unfortunately, Catalina doesn't run 32 bit programs.

Later versions of DW have gone to 64, but CS6 was 32 only, hasn't been updated since 2012ish and is no longer supported/updated by Adobe.

You'd have to run an older OS to run CS6 on that machine.

CS6 is on life support.  Eventually you'll need to get modern software or a paid Creative Cloud plan.

The only workaround is to downgrade to an older OS that's compatible with 32-bit apps and legacy Creative Suite.   Or as B_i_r_n_o_u  said, install an older OS on a 2nd volume or virtual machine.

Beware of fake Adobe reps offering to sell you software or take control of your computer.  It's a scam.  Run away!
