Dreamweaver loses ftp user namepassword - have to constantly re-enter both

On a random basis, Dreamweaver CC 2022 loses the server FTP user name and password. One day, I can upload files with no problem. The nextr day, I recive an eror message that an FTP caonnection cannot be made. I go to Manage Sites, click edit on the site, click servers, select a server ad click edit to find the username and password I set are blank. The FTP Address and Port still diplay, along with all the other information. Only the username and pasword are blank. I have to re-ente the username and pasword, test the connection and save the new information. I can then put files.

I can go for weeks without having this problem. Then, it will occure again.

Here are the specifications for version, OS and hardware.

Dreamweaver 21.3 build 15593

Windows 10 professional 64 bit 21H2 build 19044.2006 Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.4180.0

Dell OptiPlex 9020

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz   3.40 GHz  with 32.0 GB of RAM

Could be a corrupted site definition.  Create a new Site definition and delete the old one.  Site > New site...

If the problem persists,  run PC diagnostics to ensure your hard drive is healthy.
