Hi!

I'm trying to integrate cms elgg into dreamweaver, just like this video :

what I was asking for is this video :

http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-dreamweaver-cs5/working-with-cms-frameworkshttp://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-dreamweaver-cs5/working-with-cms-frameworks

but once i've set up the remote and local server, it says: Dynamically-related files could not be resolved because the site definition is not correct for this server.

site is set as: local site folder --> xampp\elgg\

and the server as :

..connect using: local/network

..server folder: xampp\

..web url: http://localhost/sites/elgg/

..set as remote server and testing server

does anybody find the problem?:S

thank you!

All files for a site using a server-side technology, such as PHP, should be located in the server's document root or a subfolder thereof. The XAMPP document root is C:\xampp\htdocs.

The local site folder should be C:\xampp\htdocs\elgg

The server folder should be the same.

The Web URL

Shouldnt it be set up - xamp\www\elgg instead?

Also, I assume you dont have the IIS server running running. Xamp and IIS both by default run on the same port number, port 80 I think, so if both are running then you will have some conflict and anything you open through your xamp localhost server wont display.

By the way, I have moved this thread to the Dreamweaver Application Development forum, which is where you should post questions about PHP and other server-side issues.
