error when viewing mysql tables in database panel

I'm trying to view the tables on my local mysql database (MySQL v 5.1). I get this error in the database panel when I expand the tables:

"While executing getComponentChildren in Connections.htm, the following JavaScript error(s) occured:
At line 64 of file "C:\\...\Dreamweaver 8\Configuration\Components\Common\Connections\ConnectionsCommon.js": TypeError: dwscripts.isDateDBColumType is not a function"

Where the table items should be listed, I just see a branch that says "Loading..." and it just sits there. I have the 8.0.1 update installed, and just can't figure out what is wrong. I have several extensions installed (mostly WebAssist and a few others).

Does anybody know what to do to fix? Am I missing some compatibility info?

Thanks...

Well goooollllleeee. Reinstalling Dreamweaver seemed to do the trick.

Now to reinstall the extensions and see if it was one of those that killed my previous installation...

I disabled all my extensions and restarted Dreamweaver a few times. Tried the database panel in several different websites, all are giving me the same error when trying to expand the table data. So much for saving time...

Anybody know what causes this error?
