When using File/Open in Browser the “floats” do not work. Pictures messed up. Tried both Chrome and Firefox. The Split view does the floating correct though. I know about this problem from before but can’t remember what to do. Please remind me,

Thanks, Ingemar

There is no image where the link says it is:

Check:

Have you uploaded the image to the correct location/folder? It says its in the 'Foto_Video' folder in the 'Images' folder. Most of your other images are just sitting in the 'Images' folder so not sure why this one in particular needs to go in the 'Foto_Video' folder..............anyway its not there.

Are you testing in real browsers?

Live view is more accurate than Design view.  Toggle between views with Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + F11

That said, floats are troublesome.  Modern CSS Flexbox or Grids are 100% better for responsive layouts.

Hi Nancy,

Yes, Live view is good; but can I trust it before I go live on i-net?

Live view is a Chrome emulator & more accurate than Design view.  But you should test in various real browsers and mobile devices to be sure the site performs as expected.

Thank you all for valuable hints.  I managed to get most things about right, but one mystery remains:

Instead of an image I get this small thumbnail symbol, wheras on the same page, for no other difference in code, it is normal. Probably an easy explanartion? Still frustrating...

You're using a mix of upper/lower case for folder/image names, that's not a very good idea as its easy to leave something in lower case when in should be in caps, the resource wont be found by the server as its case sensitive. Personally I would advise you only use lowercase for folder and image names....so check your image/folder naming convention is correct.

Problem solved just by using the "image" folder.

Thank you!, Ingo9
