GIT commits to repository but DW hangs and needs to be force restarted

I am new to using Git with DW.

On a MacBook Pro when I use Git it does commits to the repository but DW hangs and needs to be force restarted every time.
What can I do about this?
I am using MacBook Pro, GIT and DW2021

This has been driving me nuts for ages. I noticed that when it hangs and you swap quickly between apps the Git Repository window reappears. This has led me to think it might be a timeout issue.

 

So my workaround when pushing to the repository, is to move the mouse quickly around the screen until the push is finished. No more timeouts.  ðŸ™‚

 

Please let me know if this ridicules workaround works for anyone else?

We hope you are continuing to stay well and healthy. We appreciate your kind patience on this issue. We have investigated the issue internally and fixed the behavior observed frequently on MacOS 13 with Git panel related dialogs. We would like to share the build via Dw prerelease forum for you try the fix and provide feedback on the same. Hence can you please confirm if it would be feasible to try the fix via prerelease, depending on your confirmation and feedback, we will further take this forward.

Just come accross this feed after searching about this issue that I have had for over a year. All this talk about what OS versions feels irrelevant to me as it has been the same for me through Big Sur, Monterey and Ventura. This is typical of Adobe. Slow with any.. if any... responce or progress. Frustrating!!
