Hair ripping meltdown

I have recently upgraded to CS3 from Dreamweaver 4 (yes, some of us were still living in the dark ages) and switched development of a project to CS3.
I am using topstyle pro for my external stylesheets and had been using a Sothink application to make a horizontal menu with drop downs. My project was all but ready to go live and then I discovered Spry menus which looked so much easier to use and create and looked so much better.
So far so good.
The menu looked good but needed to be tweaked which I thought I would do this morning
What had been wonderfully crafted webpages have been reduced to a collection of random blocks all justified left. The code view and the design view both look fine yet when I try to view using Firefox 3 or IE7 it would seem that all formatting has dropped out.
I have tried to import and to link the sylesheet but nothing seems to work.

Anyone got any ideas? The solution is probably (and hopefully) quite simple and one of you nice people may have the answer.

Suggestion: Forego the cute subject line and try for something more
descriptive of your problem next time.

SoThink is definitely SoStink in my book. Their approach is very poor for a
number of reasons.

Without seeing your page and its underlying code, it would not be possible
to even hazard a guess....
