How to collapse file tree view in Dw 21.4

Is there any way of collapsing the tree view of the local site? I've got a large-ish site with hundreds of pages, thousands of images and dozens of folders.  Scrolling all the way down to files in the root takes an age if multiple folders are open.  Is there anyway of collapsing the view so that it just shows folders and files in the root?  Many thanks,

You can click the > icons to the left of your folders to collapse them.

Ctrl+Clicking a > icon will collapse/expand a folder and all folders inside it. It's a flaky function though and doesn't always do what's expected. Sometimes a standard click will collapse all when using CTRL+Clicking. It's weird.

You can also right click the space just above the files list to add/remove column headers. You can then click the header to sort by one of the categories like you can in your OS file windows (Modified, Type, Size, etc).

Aside from that, careful planning of your site structure is really the only way to keep that window organized nicely.

It helps to group file types in asset folders.  See screenshot.

To toggle all site folders Expanded/Collapsed, use Ctrl + Alt click on topmost  ⌄ chevron.

Tested on Windows and it works.
