I'm trying to install the dreamweawer CS3 on my mac. After entering the serial number and the activation attempt, the installer issues a message Too many activations. How to activate the product?

You need contact Adobe Customer Care by phone or online chat and ask for an Activation Count Reset.  Ask for nothing more than that as CS3 is no longer supported and they will try to send you back to the forums.  Be insistent.  Ask for a supervisor if they give you any trouble.  The user-to-user  forums cannot help you with this.  The Activation Count can only be reset by Adobe.

Good luck!

Denis Yarikov: I'm trying to install the dreamweawer CS3 on my mac& After entering the serial number and the activation attempt, the installer issues a message Too many activations. How to activate the product?

Rahul Dialle: I can see that the serial number that you have provided belongs to CS3 version product.

Rahul Dialle: I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

Rahul Dialle: I am afraid, Adobe has discontinued the phone and chat support for CS5.5 and prior version products.

Rahul Dialle: We do not have any tools or resources to provide you assistance for these products.

Rahul Dialle: For the CS5.5 and older version products you will have to go to Adobe Forums and the Adobe representatives there would assist you with the old and obsolete products.

Rahul Dialle: Please go to this link and upload your issue or query and they would provide you the resolution.

A Windows serial number won't work on a Mac.

Read my reply above.

Oh wait a second.  You have a Windows license and you want to put it on a Mac?  I'm sorry to sat this but you cannot put Windows software on Mac and vice versa.   Unfortunately, CS3 is too old to qualify for a platform swap.  You will need to install on Windows (stand alone or virtual) if you can get your activation count reset.

The only other option is to join the Creative Cloud plan which can be installed on either platform (Win or Mac).

<I've already put DW on mac and it's activated.>

I'm not sure I understand the current problem then.

Can you be more specific about what you need help with?

Which Mac OS do you have, etc...?

This is going nowhere fast.  I still don't know what you need or for which operating system.

I have moved your previous post to the Downloading, Installing, and Setting up forum. I have also replied to your question on that one.

It's ideal that you don't create multiple posts to help experts on forums focus their attention on a single post.

Thanks,
