You can't....there is always a way around something.

Use watermarks for your images, and text, well, nothing you can do.

"How do I lock my HTML code from plagerism?"

Did you mean to post this in the applications board, or the general HTML discussion board?

You can't fully protect anything generated using a server-side application because it is unique, new, and "previously undiscovered" until that person makes that request. It is not something you created, it is something a computer server-side computer generated. If anyone has a copyright to those pages, it is your web host, and not you.

Fortunately, you can copyright the "static" elements of your pages. You can copyright the pictures, descriptions, etc. But the whole page? If you don't understand this point, you need a lawyer, even before you really need a lawyer.

Relax, have a beer, and enjoy life a bit.

Keep in mind that 'copyright' is a LEGAL term...not at technology term.

The solution is lawyers. Not web designers.

The watermark suggestion is about the best solution the web designer can
implement. Anything else needs to be sent to the lawyer.

Just one addendum to what others have said about products like this
being useless. Products that claim to "secure" your HTML code do so by
writing the page content dynamically using JavaScript. In addition to
the general ineffectiveness of this approach, using JavaScript to write
the page content will make the page completely invisible to search
engines, screen readers, and anyone who does not have JavaScript
enabled. There is a huge negative impact of using something like that.

Its like a book, its out there, with a copyright notice, but nothing can
physically prevent someone from copying it. The same is true with the
web, if it can be displayed on the screen, then it can be copied. It
sounds like your client is doing all they can, legal action. Good luck
with convincing your client!

very funny guy's :) i did find some coding but it only works in IE. So back to the drawing board. most of my images are in flash but i will watermark them anyway just incase. From my clients point of view another company has completely taken there information of a specific service and are using it to poach clients. My clients published this information in a magazine and on there site so we know who it is and they are dealing with it. They just wanted to make sure that it could not happen again, Due to the competition, but they have to have this information on there site for there potential clients. Cheers Guy's :)

OK, we will split. You take the part after the point, and I take the
part before ...

Why do you need to do that?
