Images not appearing

A moment ago, my html page had the images appearing but after a while it disappeared. Like after i re-opened the page, it just became like this! Does anyone know why? Or what I did wrong?

Broken images means Dreamweaver cant find the links to your images. Are the images in your site folder

Your folder and file naming convention is poor. You should never leave spaces between the words

'WPD Dreamweaver' should be:

WPD_Dreamweaver (using an underscore to join the words or just -  WPDDreamweaver)

At a guess I would say your images are NOT in the location the links to them say they are.

Did you define your 'site folder' at the outset of the project so Dreamweaver knows where to store all the elements used in your website?

Thankyou for your reply, does it mean I have to do it all over again like create the entire html page from scratch? Also, does it mean that I did not link my HTML page to my images folder (where these pictures are) properly? Oh no, sounds like i have to restart everything

I'm definitely a beginner and totally suck at this, but trying to navigate my way through for my school's assignment that's worth 30% of my grade unfortunately! Thanks for the help though, I honestly appreciate it!

omg, ok I linked it properly and re-did the page and re-linked the site and did everything you told me to and it works!!! Its no more a image error THANKS SO MUCH! Super super super grateful

No, it just means you need to make sure the link path to you image is correct. Even though its bad practice to leave spaces between folder and file names the pages will probably work.

The key is to define your site folder at the outset of the project, did you do that? Not sure how the latest DW goes about doing that but it used to be on the main navbar - Site>New Site>Enter a site name>Local root folder>Then select the folder on your computer that you wish to keep the site files in by clicking on the 'folder' icon.

If you do that DW will prompt you to save the images into the site folder if they are not already in the site folder but somewhere else on your computer.

yeah i think initially i didnt link that properly but its ok! It's working ok now!!! THANKS HEAPS 🙂
