[Locked] Recommended HTML/CSS book?

I know the video tutorials are the way to go (and I do use them) but I would like any suggestions of a good physical book to learn HTML and CSS for website design. I see a lot of them on AMAZON but I trust the people here more for advice on this issue

Well, I really do appreciate all of the feedback... and I'm really trying not to get negative here but I must comment accordingly. I'm not looking for fatherly advice on how to shop for a book, or what features I should look for, or excerpts from google. And I'm definitely not trying to rehash that tired old argument of print vs ebook vs video. I love all three formats for different reasons.

Once again... Does anyone have a recommendation of a printed book on the subject that you have personally read?

If not, please stay off my thread.

Congratulations on completely misconstruing and disregarding someone trying to help you. Good luck with that approach?

I still recommend that book regardless of you not wanting to accept the recommendation or make the simple determination yourself with the above provided comparison.

    The problem with books is that they become obsolete very fast.  Web standards and browsers are not standing still.  You have to accept that this profession requires constant learning and re-learning to stay ahead of the curve.

    Look for book editions that were published recently -- not 2 or 3 years ago.

    Stay on top of recent developments through the Mozilla Developer's Network and the Word Wide Web Consortium websites.

      I agree with all of that but I just want a physical book to reference for tag definitions, etc. I try to keep my eyes off of a digital screen as much as I can (which isn't much lol) these days to help preserve my eyesight. I weld for a living and that takes a toll. Thanks for the suggestion. Any others that someone has read and recommends?
