Is there a way to manually install extensions without the extension manager?

Extension manager does not work on a brand new WIN 7 computer.

Hi

I suppose it could be done, if you knew which directories the extension was to be installed into, but it may also require the creation of mxi and mxi-air files in the extension manager directory in order to be recognized, (I do not think it does, but!!).

Hi again

Have just tried this from DWCS4 on my main pc to DWCS4 on my laptop and it works for DW, do not know about other programs.

If you still have your old computer you could copy your DW user configuration folder and paste it into the user configuration of your new computer. I have not tried all the extensions that I had installed but the ones I have tried work as far as I have tested them.
