my subscription to Creative Cloud

I have a subscription to creative cloud.  When I open creative cloud to use a program -- such as Dreamweaver -- now I see a "start trial" button instead of a "open" button.  What do I do about this?

Usually, you can fix that by logging out of your CC Desktop App and back in, if your subscription is current.

Is there any chance you have 2 Adobe IDs?    For example, one for your paid subscription and another for a trial?  Logging out and back in with the paid ID & password should get you back to your subscription.

Stop Creative Cloud from reverting to trial mode

Try signing out of the CC app, (the cog at the top r/h side) restart your computer, then log back in using the CC app.
