Need help with Spry and IE issues.

I made a vertical navigation in my sidebar with Spry. It looks great in Safari but it has issues in IE 7 and most likely 6.
1. My top margin is doubled in the sidebar area. The top link should be flush with the bottom of the header.
2.The rollover navigation does not position the same in IE as other browsers. In IE it is too far to the left. If I position it for IE it looks horrible in the other "modern" browsers.

Spry seems great but if it breaks in IE, why even bother. Please help.

First problem solved. Commented out the 30px marging IE bug fix.
