Hello Folks,

We are excited to share that we have started working on Windows Hi DPI support for Dreamweaver and have already pushed a Beta build.

You would definitely like to try your hands on, so here is the link to join the program

Fantastic - I installed the latest  beta build 10100 (after joining the pre-release program mentioned in the message above) and the hiDPI issue is much improved.  System text (menus, panels, etc.) still a bit little for my liking but a VAST improvement.  So pleased that this issue has been worked on.

Thank you everyone for sharing your platform details.

It would be great if you could also share size of your monitors, default scaling/resolution information (if not already added).

That would definitely and greatly help us achieving this milestone.

OS: Windows 10 pro v1511 build 10586.36

Graphics Card: Intel HD Graphics 515

Machine: HP Elitebook Folio G1

Processor: Intel M7-6Y75

Disk/Memory:500G SSD HD, 8GB Ram

DW: 2017 CC build 9314

Same issues here...blurry text when using at 125%, if you use compatibility setting on the .exe, it makes the file tree unusable (the collapse folder pointers do not align for example)

I have temporarily moved to Sublime with DW color scheme...I have been using DW happily for 10+ years.

Intel® Core™ i7-5500U

AMD R9-M275 4G

16GB DDR3L

1TB Hybrid SSHD

14" FHD (1920 x 1080) Display

Impossible to use Photoshop CC 2017, too big or too tiny UI. I've try all suggested ways, even using external manifest file (blurry text), nothing worked. Strangely, illustrator CC 2017 worked fined after changing scale setting in  Preferences!

Too bad, I'm downgrading too.

Please let me know when there is a fix. Many thanks!

Custom build PC:

Windows 10 pro 64 bit,

Gigabyte GTX 970

16GB ddr3 ram,

i5 3570k, asus p8z77-v pro

Samsung 850 pro 250GB SSD

2TB WD HDD at 7200rpm

LCD: LG Professional 27 inch 2560x1440 @ custom scaling level (133% to match 1080 ratio)

Dreamweaver CC 2017, 9314 Build

Problems that i have:

Without "disable display scaling on high DPI settings":

Everything is blurry

With "disable display scaling on high DPI settings" enabled:

1. Options menu opens in too big not visible window. (unable to use options at all).

2. Menus like "snippets" and others like that, selecting and text options are on different positions make it very hard to chose anything.

3. Find (ctrl+f) hides some of the buttons.

4. Other small issues.

Photoshop at 200% option is perfectly fine without the need to enable "disable display scaling on high DPI settings".

EVGA GeForce GTX 950

Custom build MSI Z170A MB

16GB Ram, 256GB NVMe SSD (boot), 2TB HD, 6TB External backup

Dual BenQ BL2420PT displays via DP connections

Currently using DW 2015 CC due to too many issues with 2017, including the preferences panel would span like 3 monitor widths, certain elements not lining up properly, etc. Basically making it unusable.

A note on other 2017 CC apps, Illustrator and InDesign both have a fairly large interface which is good and bad I guess. Photoshop is substantially smaller pretty much everywhere, but it's OK. Dreamweaver is the only one that gets completely borked in Windows and unusable. Now, what I don't understand is why ALL the programs aren't High DPI aware and ALL interfaces look the same (font and scale wise). There should be some pretty good consistency among all of them. I know coming from Mac there were never these issues.

Thanks everyone.

All of your inputs definitely going to help us in providing full High DPI support for Dreamweaver.

I would request others who are on High DPI monitors, do post your system info.
