Liebe Community,

ich arbeite noch immer mit Dreamweaver 13, was mir völlig ausreicht. Hab aber lange nichts mehr gemacht, so dass ich jetzt nicht mehr weiß, wie man Objekte gruppiert und umgekehrt.
Beispiel: http://www.alphazalpha.de/ahnen/schmidtke.html

Bitte um Hilfe!

Your ancestral tree is one very large image.

It's obvious that you used other software to assemble the image. Which software, we don't know. But it wasn't Dreamweaver.

Not sure what you're asking.

Grouping objects is a function within your graphics editor (Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate, etc...).

Dreamweaver is a code editor for creating web pages. It's not a graphics editor.

I haven't looked at Dreamweaver 2013 in over 10 years -- it's way beyond its 'replace me' date.

But I was able to connect the texts with the frames and photos, i.e. group them, so that they can be moved more easily.

You are most likely referring to the Absolute Positioned boxes that used to exist in Dreamweaver. This was great when there was just the one screen size and a web page was able to be shown in a similar method to a paper page.

Gone is that era. There are now many different screen sizes depending on the device. These range from mobiles to giant sized TV screens. This means that a web page has to be fluid and can no longer be held to constraints.

In other words, there is no so-called grouping.

Yes, but I once connected the objects and now I don't know how to undo it.

Is it possible to give us the link to the site, so that we can see what you have done?

Hi Nancy, You're right - the picture was made in a graphics program. I had forgotten that. Thanks everyone!
