Hi all,
have a Dreamweaver license running on my old compuber since 2013. I remember when I installed it, I had to call support. They said something like: "We changed the licensing servers."
I know they asked me to disconnect from the internet.
I don't know how I got to the next menue, however I got a REQUEST CODE. The support gave me a RESPONSE CODE and I had the program installed. I thanked him and asked what would I do next time. He said: "Just call me again."
I think I did the offline installation for Dreamweaver CS5.5
Last week I called Adobe and they said, the support is over, they cannot help me.
I know there is a response code generator Antwortcode generieren
I disconnected from the internet, but there was no offline activation procedure started. I cannot remember what I did in 2013 to get there.
Can anyone help me?
I am looking forward to your answer.
Best
Wolfgang

Keeping in mind that CS5 is 15-year-old, obsolete web software that's way beyond its 'replace me' date, you should find a modern code editor to use. DW CS5 isn't fit for use anymore. Nor is it guaranteed to run on modern operating systems, it's too old.
1. Did you deactivate CS5 from all previously installed devices first?
That's critically important because your individual license has a strict 2 time activation limit.
You must deactivate from old devices to free-up an activation for a new device.
Given its advanced age, that may or may not be possible. See links below for more details
If the old devices are dead or no longer in your possession, you're stuck. You won't be allowed to activate CS5 on another device.
2. Offline Activation -
