A lazy Sunday afternoon always offers me the opportunity to fiddle around. This time I had a look at the performance of the browsers. The first thing I noticed was the difference in memory usage. The following shows the result for all of the latest versions of the browsers.

Does this mean that I should start using Edge?

Wappler, the only real Dreamweaver alternative.

You must be bored Ben.

Edge I have found to be a very good browser, it is very stable and has very good front end security. The developers tools are good, and the js debugger better than other browsers, but as i use visual studio that may be because it is almost exactly the same debugger.

My only complaints are the lack of developer extensions, and that once a feature is implemented, MS tend to take longer to update them if they use the vendor prefix.
