PHP MySQL 2 column list

Explorer ,

I am building at site in dreamweaver using PHP/MySQL.

I have a page that will list a bunch of categories. I would like to have them in a two column list instead of one. It will look better as far as the design goes. How can I do this. I would like each column to be an equal amount as possible
