PLEASE HELP!

I woke up the other day and all of the sudden my dreamweaver ftp connections stopped working. Im a designer and manage over 10 sites...none will connect. i threw out the preferences..no go..it keeps saying operation timeout... how is it possible that i have internet and email access but not ftp access. ive looked everywhere..no help.

how does dreamweaver connect in your computer..where should i be looking.

help please!

The first thing I'd check is to make sure your firewall software is not
preventing the connection from Dreamweaver.

so i go to sys pref/network/build in firewire and turn if off? should 1Pv6 be off too?

I have no idea what firewall software you are using...but whatever it is,
turn it off temporarily and see if Dreamweaver connects. If it does, then
the firewall needs to be adjusted to set Dreamweaver as a trusted program.

i dont use any firewall, im not on a network its just my home/business computer. i turned it all off, restarted and

just tried to connect to one this is what i get

< 220 FTP server ready.
> USER anonymous
< 331 Anonymous login ok, send your complete email address as your password.
> PASS
< 230 Anonymous access granted, restrictions apply.
> PWD
< 257 "/" is current directory.
> PWD
< 257 "/" is current directory.
