i posted 4 days ago a couple of questions and i didn't get any help from anyone, one of them i got it fix and the other was SIMPLE question about php books.
I have been subscribed to this forum since 2004 and for the first time i am getting disappointed. Have i said or done something bad here to not get any help?
Thank you for you time

yes, i did. Thank you. What i meant is that i didn't get much help for my question, "which it's fine", and i asked a simple question about php book advising, but some answers somewhat made me feel like i was pushing everyone's buttons. I have spend alot of money on software by adobe and such and i was recommended this web forum for support, if i don't know something or if i have some kinda problem,"believe me", for my own interest i try fixing and learning by myself, but sometimes, the more one looks the less one sees.

I certainly apreciate everyone help and advices.

Although this forum is provided by Adobe, the people who provide help
here 99% of the time are not Adobe employees. It's a user-to-user forum,
where people give up their spare time to assist others. Even Adobe
Community Experts receive no payment for the assistance we give.

The fact that you have spent a lot of money on Adobe software is no
guarantee of a reply or solution to your problem. When I log into the
forum, there are usually dozens of new posts. I look for clear subject
lines that give me a good idea what the post is about. If it's an area
that I'm knowledgeable about or have a particular interest in, I'll take
a look. If the question or problem is well explained, I'll try to
answer. If it's vague or contains 100 lines of code, I'll usually pass
it by.

Good subject line and clear questions are certainly a way of improving
your success in getting questions answered. Another thing to remember is
that this is a Dreamweaver forum. A lot of your questions are about code
in Larry Ullman's books. I have no idea if Larry runs a forum, but some
of your questions would be more appropriate in a dedicated PHP forum.

You have asked for recommendations of PHP books. I have already told you
about mine. I suspect the reason you haven't been overwhelmed with other
suggestions is because many people here rely on Dreamweaver to create
the code for them. I don't read beginner-level books any more. The one
PHP book that I rely on is "PHP Programming" by Rasmus Lerdorf and Kevin
Tatroe. However, it's not a "how-to" book. It's more like a dictionary
or grammar book.

This should be posted monthly as a forum guideline.
