quick paypal discount price change using php

I have a product range that is currently using paypal buttons and the paypal shopping cart so all the prices from the products are currently changed in the paypal account. Is there a way that i can add a discount value to the form that paypal generates in order to add a discount to each product or do i need to go into each product in PP and change them there?

I'm pretty sure you have to do this through PayPal.
