"Fort Knox" for E-commerce

Should "Designers" really be in charge of the refined tasks of
developing an e-commerce site or handling sensitive personal information?

To be honest, I think Governments should step in and form a "Fort Knox"
for Internet data.

Here in the U.S., we have a system for securing the production of money,
we also have a place called Fort Knox that is a highly secured "bank"
that we, as Americans can count on to keep our gold reserves safe.

Why do we think, just because it's "data" that we don't have to be just
as concerned about it being taken as truckload of gold bars?

I think we need the same sort of thing for E-commerce transactions.

There are just too many hackers and too many people with limited
database skills handling very sensitive information and I think it's
time to formalize the systems that secure data.

I think when you have an RFID chip stuck up your @ss so you can use the web
to buy or sell buy t-shirts you will not want to remember what you asked
for.

Meanwhile, if you really want to use an analogy like Fort Knox you should at
least be responsible and learn that there is no more gold in Fort Knox. The
last remnants of the Fort Know gold was in the basement of the World Trade
Center towers they blew up on 9-011-2001. You see, Fort Knox was proven to
be no more secure than the traitors that were allowed to control it. You
see, its not the lock on the door dude but those controlling the key. That's
why philosophically the government is not the solution. Furthermore, don't
you remember how the pif Mayor of New York Goonliani had the first
responders put at gun point and taken off the pile while they removed the
gold or were you asleep that day too?

So do something for your country. WAKE UP! Do something that will help you
and your family and friends. WAKE UP!

"domestic enemies" and how the domestic enemies (democrats and republicans )
violated the U.S. Constitution and have given control of our nation's
monetary system to Zionist jew bankers who were given complete control of
the nation's monetary system in 1913 when the phoney jew banks they call the
"Federal Reserve" were formed. That's when and how the jews got control of
everything that matters.

Go to video.google.com and watch a movie made by a whistle blower named
Arron Russo (allegedly a well known hollywood jew actually working as an
"independent producer"). Mr. Russo's movie is called "From Freedom to
Fascism" which was made to help people learn the truth that democrats and
republicans are traitors and have been serving Zionist jews for many years.
You want to watch the full movie "America Freedom to Fascism Authorized
version."

Then ask yourself why the so-called heroes in the military are really in the
middle East and finally, when the domestic enemies and traitors controlling
your state try to force you to take the recently mandated "Real ID" by May
of 2008 the liars are claiming is "only a driver's license" ask some--
real -- Christians about the "Mark of the Beast" noting in these dark and
evil times a "real" Christian is very hard to find but to the extent
possible to believe it you are reading comments from a real Christian.

The phoney christians and other satanists deny this but the Real ID is beta
for the next phase of the mark of the beast; the jews and those serving them
are mandating everybody have a "mark" or a form of "identification" or the
person(s) will not be allowed to buy or sell. According to those who have
studied the details about the Real ID ex[plain the details the domestic
enemies don't talk about on TV include mandates that the Real ID must be
used or you won't be able to have a job with an employer, or be allowed to
buy or sell without the ID as well as other tyrannical mandates created and
controlled by the jew banks and those who server them otherwise known as the
"new world order."

They do have a plan and do intend to force everybody to be chipped and then
you can tell us all what you think about asking the government to "help" if
you are allowed to even use the Internet that is... because yes, security is
a challenging problem but no, turning to an evil and corrupt government
controlled by satanist jews is not the solution when evil men and women hold
the keys.

So wake up sheeple -- please -- the domestic enemies are likely going to do
another inside job like 9-11 -- blame the Iranians this time -- and scare
fools and sheeple into begging the government to save them.

Perhaps you do it right, perhaps you don't. Who's to say? Who's to
determine if your standards are good or not?

From you to me, I take your word to be good.

I think there are a lot of designers with good intentions that just
don't know what they don't know. How many of us think we know what we
need to know about securing data yet, given the right tools, hackers can
get in.
The only point of Clintons, I feel, to be valid as it relates to this is
the whole issue of Government watching what we buy. This is a concern
but is anything stopping the US gov from doing what it wants today?

How many of you out there have purchased online and how many of you are
sure that information was secure? So how many shopping carts are out
there and who has access to those databases? Who developed them? In
general, how many web designers don't have insertion attack protection
in place?

This is what I mean, there's no standard and no real system. I don't
necessarily trust governments but I trust corporations and programmers
and designers less but ONLY because I don't know who they are.

In other words, we have guidelines but there's no guarantee that people
know what they are or that they're followed. How often have we heard
that some large company that HAD these practices in place, was hacked
into? That's with companies with huge resources and sophisticated
practices.

Again, I say we need an international standard. We need a proverbial
"Fort Knox."
