Recordset NavBar VBscript error

My application works. However, upon placing the Dreamweaver MX 2004 Recordset NavBar on the page I get the error below.
Any suggestions?

Expected end of statement

I'd suggest that you rebuild the page. Looks like you've got VB Script and
Javascript mixed up.

What's the code on line 5 of the page that's giving the error?

Check to see if you have an End If statement for every If statement before Line 5.

Once again, the app performs perfectly without the inclusion of the Dreamweaver Recordset NavBar application behavior. There is no instance of JavaScript in the code.

Line 5 (the first program line) references the database object: var objRS_total = objRS.RecordCount;

I have attempted to attach the code in its entirety, but when I do and 'Reply to topic', I receive an error message from this site that a page does not exist.

is an instance of javascript. I'd suggest that you rebuild the page from
scratch.
