Source Formatting for PHP and JavaScript?

Hello,

I've been mainly working in development tools such as Aptana Studio (Eclipse) along with a web browser with debug tools. I've Dreamweaver CS6 as part of a suite and it seems promising, but it seems to fall short in its handling of source code--namely being able to apply source formatting to pages that contain a mix of HTML and PHP. And it doesn't seem to have any formatting support for JavaScript?!

Am I just missing something or is this in fact missing? If so, it's sadly a deal-breaker. It's inefficient to read someone else's code without first filtering it through a formatter for readability.

There is an existing DM extension to accomplish formatting JavaScript here:

Cool. Just wish it worked in CC. Breaks saying it needs DW 10 or greater. Hmmmm. Thanks though.

Unfortunately, Dreamweaver does source formatting for HTML and CSS only. I agree that it would be useful for DW to format PHP and JavaScript as well. Add your voice to requests for this feature by filing a request through the official form at http://adobe.ly/DWBug.
