As of January 2017, Adobe officially stopped selling CS6 to anyone.  It's legacy software now so any tutorials that relate to that version are necessarily retired as well.  Out with the old, in with the new.

IMO, the starter pages are a great way to get your feet wet with any version of Dreamweaver.

Actually, the question that was asked in this and the other thread was where to find the Stargazer tutorial, not where can one find a tutorial that's not the Stargazer tutorial but somewhat like it. So the question that's been asked has not been answered. Nice try though...

I did not think so. Unfortunately, what you are looking for is no longer available.

With the many changes and the rate at which the changes are happening, it is very hard for Dreamweaver tutorials to remain relevant.

If a user of the latest version of Dreamweaver comes across an 'old' tutorial, there are going to be complaints. Similarly, if a user of CS6 comes across a 'new' tutorial, they will complain. How does Adobe please everyone? Impossible.

Having said that, what is the reason that you want this specific tutorial? Knowing that, I may be able to give you a viable alternative.

That said, if you don't know HTML and CSS code, no Dreamweaver tutorial will help you.  You must understand code basics first.   And that's something you can learn on your own in a weekend.

Read chapters.  Work with code examples.  Take quizzes at the end.

CSS Introduction

Once you understand code, DW is much easier to use.

I checked with the content team, and they are looking to see if there is enough reason for them to bring back this tutorial. With too many tutorials, it is going to get confusing for users to get to the most relevant one.

Thanks,

Preran

Ok thank you preran! maybe you could release it on your youtube channel

And thanks nancy, yes I definitely need to learn more CSS and HTML. The tutorial explained the basics of HTML and CSS while creating the page, which was great.

The stargazer tutorial was a comprehensive tutorial that clearly showed the viewer the proper step by step instructions on how to build a website using bootstrap.

Fast forward to today, and I cannot find one tutorial that does the same as Stargazer, not one.

Daniel Walter Scott has a good tutorial for building a responsive website... why there isn't one for bootstrap boggles my mind.
