Stop automatic sweetching to OVR!

When will it be fixed?

    Hi Preran,

The problem affects a lot of systems with WIN 7 and WIN 10 and Russian settings.

Now the fix is expected in the next update in April or whenever.

The question is why such a simple, obvious and annoying bug was not fixed earlier in 2 previous updates, why it lasts so long while it was found and documented long time ago.

    Alex

In the latest update 2017.1 the problem is solved.

As I see if only one or some user have a problem, than it is not a problem, developers ignore it. No one of bug reports has been answered. In decent Russian big companies it is impossible. However, it is obviously a mass production attitude of a big worldwide company.

Everyone who has the same problem please vote here - adobe thinks it is not common problem:

From what I know, the team has logged a bug for this issue. Let me check with them.

It is in top 4 in the "dreamweaver.uservoice.com" bugs - and no fix for 4 month.

OK, here's the update. The team has managed to fix the bug internally, and it should be available in a future update. Stay tuned.

I understand that this fix is very important, and have conveyed your sense of urgency to the team.

    Thanks,

    Preran

On my Win10 system there is no problem, not had it happen, nothing to fix.

    Win 7.

Chat support answers - "You need to manually select INS everytime"...

And I have to do it every time I change e.g. from Source code to CSS code..

That's definitely not how it works on my system in DWCC 2017 under Windows 7 64 bit.

Personally, I would clear the program cache, restore preferences and/or reinstall using the cleaner tool to see if maybe something within the program hasn't gone corrupt...

Unusual behavior in Dreamweaver? Try restoring preferences.
