Stream data with AJAX or JAVASCRIPT

Hello, For my class me and others need to design something on the lines on the yahoo finance web site that streams a ticker of what the current prices of the stocks are, we need your help to steer us in the right direction on making one of these ie, Links to tutorial, ect. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Dreamweaver doesn't have any features that would do that for you, so you're not likely to get a great deal of help here. Google is probably your best friend in starting your search for help.
