Submit Form Data Application?

Community Beginner ,
Sep 08, 2008 Sep 08, 2008
I thought I saw an software extension that allowed form submission in Dreamweaver for us designers who can't figure out all the technical stuff. By form submission I mean collecting data captured in a Dreamweaver page and sent in some readable format to a specific email address.
Thanks for any help.

This is also my question which I posted this morning. I have seen the web site called Hot Dreamweaver Extensions. They have an mpressive list of features which interests me. I am hoping that someone with experience with these extensions can offer advice.

I purchased another, less expensive form tool that should be avoided. They only have limited email support (read, useless) and I still need a form program. I've been burned and spent many hours working on something that should be relatively simple. I hope we get a good answer.

Yes, exactly. There is also an extension called form2Excel and Email which places a .csv data file on the serve that can be opened in Excel and saved to a database if you want. Now the question is, does anyone have experience with thaese extensions and can they recommend them for ease of use?

I was using form2Excel and Mail for a time was bas happy with it. However, a couple of months back it stopped delivering. I found some e-mails on the host site in a folder named 'dead letter' but haven't been able to determine why it's not working anymore. timing of the problem was coincidental to an update to our e-safe software, so I tend to think it had something to do with that. Regardless, I cant find a solution.

I have successfully used Form2Mail on two or three sites. Its pretty intuitive but would not deliver email on a couple of sites - I understand it to have been a mail server problem...

Tapiochre - thanks for the reply. By 'mail server problem' do you mean our host's site? And do you know what the problem was?
