Table cells are out of alignment

I'm using a Dreamweaver (21.2) template to create a basic HTML email. When I drop in my content, the cells become unaligned. Even after I fix and refine the spacing in dreamweaver, the result is still out of alignment when viewed in a browser. How can I stop this from happening, or fix it when it does?

    yes @Nancy OShea said a premium template is a nice way to go, here at the studio we often resort to themeforest, in fact the point is that these market place own a policy that guarantees a good relationship between the developer of the template, the customer, the after-sales support and the durability of the service...

    however whatever your choice, when using a mailing campaign, it is imperative to produce both an HTML and a plain text version of your message in order to best serve your recipients

    For best results, use an industry-tested Email Template. 

    Look on Litmus, HubSpot, Mail Chimp or Constant Contact.

    I've tried Constant Contact with this client. Long story, but those types of industry standard email services gets flagged by their firewall (hyper sensitive security) and dumped. I've got to give them something they can send from an internal email address. I'll keep looking into these services as some of them seem to offer code downloads.

    If we have access to the same base document, the HTML code is a real spaghetti dish!!!

    TABLEs encapsulated in each other, a real headache. I don't know why these models have been maintained, despite several feedbacks during the testing phases.

     

    It would certainly be better to start from a much healthier base...

    If not, please send us the code used

    It is not that specific one, but yes I used a template from that menu. Sounds like that may have been my first mistake. Are there any fixes to get a reliable final display?

    well, these are usually the first places where I go to exploit this kind of data, but I never found convincing results, all of them contradict each other and none of them really give figures on the share of users who don't see the images (by default, or after click, or in an unmanaged way)...


    only a few figures indicate the share of users who use plain text mailers, in opposite of HTML ones... and this is still very marginal (although it increases according to the niches)


    so, I still have questions about this 50% figure that you announce ?
