Template not updating child files

I have been updating websites from 2012 with DW 2021    Some of the websites are updating properly when I make changes on templates, but this one website is  not.  No prompt is appearing.  I also note that the images folder isn't the one within the website folder on multiple sites. . It is like DW is confused as to which image folder links to which site.  The only thing that may confuse it is that the sites have similar names.

So  I had to download into a different folder,  import that as a new site and finally got it to work  after adding in the servers info.

Thanks

Please supply a link to the working and failing sites. That way we can see what is going wrong.

I had a look at the template as well as the website of the offender, but could not see a problem.

Does the problem exist locally? I.e, when using Dreamweaver? If so, make a backup copy of the local site and download (get) the remote site and see if that helps. The cause may be a corrupted local file somewhere.

This implies that your site definition is corrupted or not pointing to the proper local site folder on your primary hard drive.

Re-define the problem site by going to Site > New Site.

And then delete the old site definition.  See screenshots.

Hope that helps.
